C&C makes double award shortlist

C&C Catering Equipment Ltd is delighted to have been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Catering Insight Awards 2019, the Distributor of the year – Project Management category and the Distributor of the year – Nationwide category. Having had its highest turnover to date during the 2018/2019 financial year, and having completed many notable projects in the last 12 months at prestigious locations throughout the UK and beyond, the team is proud to be recognised as an industry leader.



Throughout 2019, major clients include a well-known search engine company in Dublin, Ireland; the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in time for the 2019 Wimbledon Championships; and the £300k+ Mamma Mia! The Party scheme at London’s O2 Arena, where the bulk of the works were fitted in just 8 days. Project excellence has been achieved through professional standards and quick turnarounds, including stationing a senior project manager on site every week for almost 6 months at the Ireland-based project.

C&C Catering Equipment recorded its highest turnover to date during its 2018/2019 financial year due to a growing number of works throughout the UK, as well as heading to Ireland and Holland. The firm has brought on four more team members to strengthen its service both at its Chester headquarters and nationwide, with remotely based project managers for the latter. Additionally, it made environmentally friendly investments by growing its electric and hybrid vehicle fleet. Finally, the company raised a significant amount for charity (over £8,000) in memory of its founder, John Kitchin, for The Salvation Army.
