Global Relay

C&C Catering Equipment delivered a bespoke catering installation for Global Relay, working alongside Overbury to create a high-quality workspace kitchen and staff lounge environment.

Completed between February and April 2026, the project focused on delivering a custom-built prep kitchen tailored around the client’s workflow, alongside integrated catering facilities within the staff lounge areas.

Working closely with Essex Fabricators, C&C helped deliver a fully bespoke prep kitchen featuring custom stainless steel fabrication, curved upstands, a central island counter and an overhead pot rack designed specifically around the chef’s operational requirements.

The installation incorporated equipment from Adande, Foster, True Refrigeration, Catertherm, Sub Zero and Sammic, combining practical performance with a clean, modern finish. C&C also supplied and installed catering equipment within the staff lounge areas, integrating the equipment directly into counters provided by the shopfitting contractor.

One of the key challenges on the project involved the delivery and positioning of the large True and Sub Zero refrigeration units within the staff lounge areas. Due to their size and weight, a specialist five-man delivery team from IAC Delivery Solutions was required to safely manoeuvre the units into place.

The project also required close collaboration between all contractors to ensure the bespoke fabrication, catering equipment and fitted joinery aligned seamlessly throughout the finished spaces.

The project was a strong example of collaborative working between Essex Fabricators, IAC Delivery Solutions and CCI, with all teams playing a key role in the successful delivery of the installation.
