C&C visit the NRA Show in Chicago

C&C enjoyed a long weekend in Chicago in May to visit the NRA Show.

The NRA (National Restaurant Association) show is held each year at McCormick Place Convention Centre in Chicago, Illinois, USA. With more than 1800 suppliers exhibiting at the show, there was plenty to see over the 4 days. It was C&C’s first experience of the NRA Show, with Peter Kitchin, Peter Farrell and Matthew Kitchin in attendance.

MD Peter Kitchin stated, “I was impressed with the show. It was great seeing the suppliers we deal with in the UK and meeting their American colleagues to see how the products intended for the US market differ from those targeting the UK”.

Sales Director Peter Farrell added, “The show was great, we met lots of suppliers and saw their products and we’re looking forward to dealing more with them in the near future. The show was definitely a success.”

Commercial Manager Matthew Kitchin said, “The show was fantastic, the size of it as well as the vast range of products on display was really impressive. It was great bumping into people we work with and also meeting some new faces. We can’t wait to go back.”
