MD Peter celebrates 35 years at C&C

C&C Catering Equipment Ltd’s Managing Director Peter Kitchin is delighted to celebrate his 35th anniversary at the Chester based business, founded by his father John Kitchin in 1981.

One of the earliest pictures we could find of him was the above during the 1986 World Cup in Mexico with England legend Sir Geoff Hurst.

The company, which recently celebrated 35 years of uninterrupted trading, has been led by Peter since 1996 when he took over the role of Managing Director from John, who continued to work at the family business. C&C has enjoying going from strength to strength to be recognised as an industry leader in the supply and installation of commercial catering equipment, with some design for smaller schemes.

After leaving sixth-form to join the business, Peter began working with his father as they sold smaller pieces of equipment, with most trade taking place in Chester and Clwyd (the reason for the name C&C). Business steadily progressed, and Peter is now proud to lead the company as it embarks on schemes throughout the UK, with 90% of work based in London.

Peter has lead the company during many of its award winning years, recently including the 2016 CEDA Grand Prix Overall Winner and the 2016 Catering Insight Project Management award.

MD Peter commented, “I am proud and grateful to have worked at C&C for 35 years. The industry is fantastic, and I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. I’ve seen the company continuously grow during my time at the business, and I am delighted to have recently enjoyed our best financial year to date. It just keeps getting better, and I have enjoyed (almost!) every single day.”
