Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral

C&C Catering Equipment Ltd have completed work at Arrowe Park NHS Hospital. The project, worth in excess of £80k, was the second project C&C have completed for Wirral Hospitals in the last 6 months. The first being Clatterbridge Hospital which the client was so delighted with, they offered C&C to design, supply and install the Catering Equipment at this site.

Although the sizes were different, the servery counter installed has the same finishes as the counter previously installed at Clatterbridge Hospital which the client was extremely happy with. An issue C&C had to overcome was the access to services for the counters. Services had to be fed from high level to low level by using stainless steel service risers which we manufactured to match the square columns already in this area.

The programme of works was reasonably tight and C&C carried out weekend work starting at 6.30am to help the client achieve the completion date they wanted. C&C worked alongside the local builder working for the Hospital and we were in close contact with out client Sally-Ann Connolly of the NHS to ensure everything was completed on time, on budget and to a high standard.
