C&C Catering Equipment, in collaboration with Mace Interiors and SHW, have successfully completed a £700k commercial fit-out project for global law firm Baker McKenzie at 280 Bishopsgate London.
The project involved multiple areas, including a ground floor pantry, level 12 main kitchen, and level 11 servery and pantry. Notable brands such as Athanor, Halton, Green Cooling, Select, Foster, and Hobart were incorporated into the design, ensuring quality and efficiency in the catering spaces.
One of the primary challenges encountered during the project was logistical. The building was concurrently worked on by other fit-out companies across various floors, necessitating careful coordination with other trades and strict booking procedures for shared access lifts. Despite these complexities, effective communication and planning ensured minimal disruptions and smooth progress throughout the eleven month project.
A testament to the success of the collaboration, Jack Luckings, Senior Design Consultant for SHW said “I would like to extend the thanks to the team from C&C Catering Equipment, we wouldn’t be signing off the catering spaces without you! There were no major setbacks or issues throughout the install that I can think of, which is a great position to be in and generally unheard of. You did a great job of handling everything and you should be very proud – onwards and upwards from here.”
