C&C’s Neon Divas complete The Christie 10k

Following a fundraising effort in memory of Will Clark, son of former C&C Catering Equipment Director Trevor Clark, C&C’s Neon Divas have completed their 10k Night of Neon event around Salford Quays. To date, generous donations from throughout the industry and friends & family have reached an impressive £3,957, 79% of the team’s fundraising target.

Before his passing, Will had raised over £15,000 for The Christie, reflecting how important the charity was to him and his family. His family continue to remember Will through fundraising and awareness on the social media account @iwillpledge, encouraging others to commit to a good cause.

Lesley Rogerson commented, “We completed the 10k walk in 1 hour 50 minutes and were delighted to be taking part with so many others for a great cause. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us, we’re so proud to be able to support to The Christie thanks to all the kind donations. We will be keeping our sponsorship page open until the end of December and hope to hit our target of £5,000 – thank you again to those who have supported us and the charity.”
