ceda success for Rising Star Luke Slater

This year’s ceda Awards ceremony saw C&C’s Luke Slater recognised as a Rising Star, along with others in the industry, for his fantastic work and dedication since joining C&C Catering Equipment Ltd.

The annual event, that this year took place in Harrogate, celebrates the industry and includes a Rising Star category to celebrate the future of the industry. The objective of the Rising Star award is to recognise and reward an individual’s outstanding achievement and contribution to the development of a ceda member company, with initial entries reviewed by a panel of judges and an interview for nominees who manage to make the shortlist.

C&C Catering Equipment Ltd’s MD Peter Kitchin commented, “We’re delighted that Luke’s hard work has been recognised in the industry. He has exceeded expectations since joining the business as Project Manager due to his enthusiasm and dedication to excellence in all areas of his role. He continues to step up to new challenges with an eagerness for excellence, and we couldn’t be happier to have him as part of the C&C team.”

Luke Slater added, “It’s an honour to be awarded the Rising Star award along with the other fantastic winners. Having been at C&C for just over a year, it’s great that the care and dedication I have given to projects since joining has been recognised.
