With staff dining facilities set over 4 floors, C&C worked with builders Como and consultants Andrew Humble and Matt Scottow at Humble Arnold Associates to create a Plant room on the 25th floor, Freezer/ColdRoom and Storage/Dry store area on 22nd floor, Main kitchen, Pantries, and a separate Auditorium Pantry on the 20th floor, and Front of House counters and back of house dishwash area on the 19th floor.
Soon after Project Director Paul Parry won the project in late 2014, a completion date of 22nd June 2015 was set, however this was challenged from the start due to factors surrounding the high security required at Canary Wharf.
C&C completed a 5 week install in a 3 week window by organising 7 transport wagons to deliver as much equipment as possible over a single day to two of the floors, and proceeded to work every day to ensure the client received both the highest standard and a punctual handover.
C&C’s Mark Roxburgh, Senior Project Manager, stated, “This was a challenging job due to many security restraints at Canary Wharf, but the end result is incredible.”
