Working alongside Main Contractor Wilmott Dixon, this is the second Academy in the North West completed within the last 12 months. The project was awarded to C&C after the successful completion of St Anne’s Academy in Manchester.
C&C liaised with St Helens Council for 18 Months previous to the installation to ensure the design was exactly how they wanted it on the project, valued at approximately £180k.
The installation included a main kitchen area, servery with cold stores, coffee shop and a small deli servery. The facility caters for 1500 pupils which use the main servery and smaller servery units at different times.
The deli servery has an uncommon wooden top and was designed and manufactured to keep in line with the surrounding finishes.
The roller shutters and shop fitted units were also supplied by C&C as part of the works package.
