This week C&C Catering Equipment Ltd’s Managing Director, Peter Kitchin, received the fantastic news that his fundraising in 2015 was in JustGiving’s top 1%, with around 532,124 individuals aiming to raise money on the site in the year.

Peter climbed 1085m to reach the summit of Mount Snowdon in North Wales in July 2015, raising funds for a new community room of his local church totalling £7,870 and achieving 157% of his target with generous sponsors, which were matched by C&C Catering Equipment Ltd.

As well as raising funds for his chosen charity, Peter also donated a total of £8,085 on behalf of himself and C&C Catering Equipment Ltd to a variety of charities across the UK, combining his JustGiving efforts to £15,955 raised and given to causes in 2015.
Speaking about the climb, Peter commented, “It was a good challenge to take on Mount Snowdon, especially knowing it was all for a great cause. I couldn’t have asked for kinder sponsors and would like to thank everyone again for their generous donation. C&C are proud to sponsor a number of local charities, and have raised a significant amount for others in the past, such as Claire House Children’s Hospice. It is really important for us to give back to the local community, and we will continue to do what we can in the future.”
