Working alongside main contractor Structuretone and consultant Tricon, the project was delivered between June 2024 and April 2026 across the lower ground floor kitchen and café, the Level 7 pantry, and the Level 8 kitchen and terrace.
The project presented significant challenges after the collapse of the original main contractor, requiring the scheme to be restarted under new management. Picking up an existing project of this scale meant carefully reviewing previous works, overcoming gaps in the project’s history and working closely with the new project team to ensure the programme remained on track. Through collaboration and careful planning, C&C successfully delivered the installation despite the complexities involved.
The completed kitchens feature a combination of bespoke C&C fabrication and equipment from leading manufacturers including Rational, MKN, Foster and Winterhalter. Every area was designed and fitted to meet its operational requirements, creating reliable, efficient and high-performance catering facilities that will support a variety of foodservice operations.
Strong communication between all project partners was instrumental in the successful delivery of the scheme. The well-organised Structuretone site team ensured the project progressed smoothly throughout, while C&C Project Manager Ashley Kay played a key role in coordinating the installation from start to finish.
Completed in April 2026, the project demonstrates C&C Catering Equipment’s ability to deliver complex commercial kitchen installations, adapting to challenging circumstances while maintaining high standards of quality, professionalism and project delivery.
