Focussing on the requirement of a family dining offering in Trearddur Bay, Sea Shanty was looking to create an impressive and inviting venue, which would be particularly attractive to tourists in the peak seasons, as well as locals year round, and C&C Catering Equipment Ltd were delighted to be involved.
The project, fully designed and sourced by Steven Brophy and the team, included equipment such as Wexiodisk Double Hood Dishwasher Systems with a dedicated pre wash machine, a Synergy Chargrill, Pitco Fryer Filtration Suite, Rational Combination Ovens, Adande Refrigeration, Linda Lewis Pizza Ovens, Falcon Prime Cooking Equipment, an entire Potato/Chip Prep area powered by IMC equipment, and fabrications by C&C Catering Fabrications Ltd.
Due to the site’s close proximity to the ocean, it was vital to ensure the grade of stainless steel within the kitchen was such that it would resist the potential corrosion that lower grades of steel may succumb to. Additionally, energy efficiency and sustainability were key to the project, with savings on water and energy critical and considered in every element of the design.
