As well as being an important charity for the wider team, Cancer Research UK is particularly close to Team Captain Cerys Hughes’ heart. Cerys sadly lost her sisters Jayne and Barbara to cancer, and therefore decided to rally up the troops to raise money in support of the fantastic charity.
The team have done some incredible fundraising, and hope to raise over £4,000 for Cancer Research UK following the completion of their 5k at the end of June. Team Captain Cerys commented, “We would like to say a massive thank you to all who have donated. It’s such a worthy cause and we really appreciate all of our sponsorships. We have already raised over £4k with everyone’s generous donations, which we are really proud of. Thank you again for your support.”
