Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust is a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation which aims to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint. They provide advice and information to all sectors, private & public on relevant legislation, survey & auditing tools as well as 0% business loans for qualifying companies. Grosvenor Estate

The Grosvenor Estate has also installed rainwater harvesters. The idea is that rainwater can be collected in a central tank and then used to flush lavatories and supply any so-called ‘greywater’ requirements. At Smithy Farm on the Eaton Estate, a 400 litre tank was installed below ground in a field to the rear of the buildings. The rainwater is collected at a central point on each building and then piped to a control unit housed within one of the plant rooms. When required, water from the tank is pumped back to the buildings.

ISO Certifications

C&C Catering Equipment Ltd have achieved ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 certifications for the organisation’s management systems.

ISO certifications (International Standards Organisation) are achieved to ensure and maintain that C&C Catering Equipment Ltd provide a service/product that is safe, reliable, sustainable and of the highest quality to our customers across the UK. The management systems are strategic business tools that support C&C in reducing unnecessary costs by minimising waste and errors, increasing productivity, improve resource efficiency and drive down costs. The certifications give our customers confidence that our organisation is being audited, measured and improved on a frequent basis.

Energy Efficient Vehicles

C&C have increased the number of EVs in the fleet to include 5 Tesla’s. These fully Electric Cars join the other full electric and petrol hybrid cars in our fleet in our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and continue our push to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Powered by electric motors which can be charged from Tesla’s extensive charging network, the cars feature intelligent autopilot driving functions and also class leading safety performance amongst many other benefits.

Tesla recently posted how in 2020 their customers collectively saved over 5 million metric tons of CO2e by using Tesla EV’s and Solar Panel solutions, more information on their environmental impact can be found here.

Sustainability Policy

Effective management and continual improvement of safety, health, environment, quality, energy, carbon reduction, and responsible sourcing is of key importance to the sustained success of C&C Catering Equipment Limited (C&C).

The C&C sustainability policy is regularly reviewed and communicated to employees, contractors, visitors, key stakeholders and our supply chain to inform and promote wider adoption of responsible practices. As a minimum, we comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Co- operation in the effective implementation of the policy is a condition of employment, partnership and supply.
