C&C are proud to be involved with a number of charities and sponsorships, ranging from children’s hospices to local football teams. This summer sees Managing Director Peter Kitchin and Commercial Manager Matthew Kitchin fundraising for their local church extension project in Tattenhall, Cheshire.

The father and son duo will be climbing Snowdon in North Wales at the beginning of July in order to secure much needed funds for a community room at St. Albans Church. Amongst other uses, the venue will be a welcoming place for elder members of the community to come and enjoy some company over a cup of tea, and will also allow younger members of the church the chance to attend Sunday School.

Talking about the climb, Peter said, “Matt and I are looking forward to the challenge, but certainly quite apprehensive about it! We know the 1085m climb will be difficult, but all the money raised will make a huge difference to the church, so it will all be worth it.”

C&C will be matching all donations made to the cause, in order to help Peter and Matt reach their £5,000 target and to support the local community project. If you would like to learn more about the fundraiser, and the challenge facing Peter and Matt, please visit their JustGiving page where any donations will also be gratefully recieved.

All at C&C wish them good luck!
