C&C congratulate loyal employees on 25 years’ service

CEDA member C&C Catering Equipment Ltd is congratulating two of its most loyal employees, following 25 years’ of continuous service.

Heidi Cotton, company secretary at the head office of C&C Catering Equipment Ltd and Cerys Hughes, showroom manager at sister company, C&C Catering Engineers Ltd, both joined the firm in 1988 and have successfully worked their way up through the ranks to become significant team players.

Heidi joined C&C just one year after leaving school and initially worked on reception, prior to being promoted to company secretary in 1992. Managing the accounts department at C&C’s head office, Heidi has seen her role and responsibility increase. “The position has developed over time,” she says. “Initially, it was accounts focused. Now, in addition to this, I am involved with management, the directors and how the company is run. The job is extremely enjoyable and C&C have always been flexible with my family commitments.”

Cerys Hughes

Showroom manager, Cerys, started working for C&C Catering Equipment Ltd, moving to the C&C Catering Engineers’ site just last year. “I started with a relatively junior position and the role has just grown from there,” says Cerys. “At first, I undertook a part time role whilst my children were young. Now, they have completed their University Education!” A keen fundraiser in her private time, Cerys has also brought these skills to the work environment, arranging the charitable efforts of the company for ‘Children in Need’ at the end of 2013. She will be managing the firm’s on-going fundraising endeavours.

Commenting on their 25 year anniversary, Peter Kitchin, C&C’s Managing Director said “We are delighted to have retained both the working and personal skills of Heidi and Cerys and applaud them on their unwavering loyalty and substantial contribution to the growth of our company. We like to think of ourselves as ‘family’ at C&C, no doubt a contributory factor to the high level of long serving employees who have remained with us. I congratulate them both on this achievement and look forward to their continued involvement.”
