It’s a show that has many of us on the edge of our seats as some of the nation’s top chefs compete against each other to win the opportunity to impress with a four-course banquet. The recently aired Banquet episode of the Great British Menu saw the winning chefs arrive at the Palace of Westminster to showcase their talents for notable guests, and featured a kitchen in which C&C Catering Equipment Ltd are proud to have worked.

The Chester based company was pleased to have been involved with equipment at the Houses of Parliament, in which the episode was filmed, including the cooking suite which was co-designed with C&C’s Installations Director Mark Roxburgh. Additionally, C&C supplied 98% of the 50 MKN Combi-ovens at the impressive location, of which over half were also fitted by the 35 year old business. The show, which aired on 28th October 2016, showed a variety of commercial catering facilities as the chefs created their impressive dishes.

C&C’s Managing Director Peter Kitchin commented, “We’re delighted to count the Houses of Parliament as one of our projects, and to see it feature on the small screen provides a great sense of pride. The cooking suite looked fantastic on the show, and we hope all the chefs enjoyed using the facilities.”
