C&C Catering Equipment Ltd was pleased to recently attend the 2016 Institute of Directors’ West Midlands Black Country Dinner at C&C installed project, The Gongoozler Restaurant at the Dudley Canal Trust.
Along with Radford Chancellor, who designed the West Midlands based scheme, one of C&C’s CAD Designers, Jack Phillips, and one of C&C’s Project Managers, Andy Pace, were delighted to attend for an evening of networking and exploring the Dudley Canal Tunnel on Thursday 22nd September.
The event was attended by guest speakers, who were able to offer further insight into the industry and area, including the Rt. Hon. Gavin Williamson, Member of Parliament for South Staffordshire and Chief Whip, Dan Lewis, Senior Adviser for the Infrastructure Policy at the Institute of Directors, and Nick Morris, CEO of the Dudley Canal Trust.
As well as a 3 course meal at the Gongoozler Restaurant and an informative talk from the speakers, the group were also able to take a boat trip through the old lime stone mining tunnels running underneath Dudley.
C&C’s Jack Phillips commented, “It was a great evening spent at the Dudley Canal Trust, and really good to see a C&C installed project. The speakers were very interesting, the location fantastic, and the boat trip was a great experience.”
Project Manager Andy Pace added, “Going on the canal boat trip was certainly a highlight of a superb evening. Seeing the finished project in full service was also great to experience – the meal was great and the entertainment and company fantastic.”
