C&C support Cook for Good venture

C&C Catering Equipment Ltd is pleased to be involved and support a fantastic community kitchen project at Cook for Good in Kings Cross, London. The social enterprise aims to build confidence, connections and communities through food, and C&C is delighted to be involved.

The community hub for residents of the Peabody estates in Kings Cross will repurpose a disused cafe into a state of the art kitchen, and therefore require commercial catering facilities. Here, Cook for Good will run low-cost and no-cost cooking classes for residents of all ages, such as Essential Cooking Skills, Feed you Family for a Fiver, and After School Drop-In.

The hub will also host weekly community meals to tackle social isolation as well as providing a healthy dinner.

Installations Director Mark Roxburgh commented, “We’re delighted to be involved as a construction partner at Cook for Good, and being a part of the realisation of the fantastic plans set out by the social enterprise.
