With the Project Value at approximately £1.8m, C&C worked closely with Main Contractor GallifordTry Construction and Consultants Stuart Wilcox and Gary Thompson from Tricon during the installation and snagging period, spending much time on site together making sure everything was exceeding the standards expected.
Delivery restrictions were very tight and all equipment had to be lifted through an opening in the side of the stadium. A 4m long dishwasher can be seen being forklifted into the opening in a picture above. The forklifts were all supplied and coordinated by C&C, so our deliveries were all self-contained.
The delivery programme on site was very tight as the facility had to be up and running for Test Match against India in August, our timescale on site was restricted and drastically reduced but despite this the facilities were all up and running and finished in time for the match before the India Test!
C&C had engineers and Project Manager Keith Hartharn on standby throughout the first 3 games to ensure the Catering Equipment ran smoothly during Operation.
