From winning the project, C&C Catering Equipment were involved with alterations of the tender stage design to suit the new caterer involved. Work was required over two areas of the centre, firstly; the ground floor, including main CPU, crew catering, two café’s, and an atrium café bar; and secondly the first floor, including a tasting kitchen, stills room and finishing kitchen.
Brands installed at the impressive exhibition centre included MKN cooking equipment, Foster and Adande refrigeration, Moffat counters and fabrication, and Meiko and Dawson dishwash.
Due to the location of works on the site on the first floor, lifting equipment was required to deliver some of the fittings, ensuring a safe and professional finish. The cooking suite required extra attention due to difficulty in positioning, which saw it forklifted to its first floor location from inside the Atrium Area.
