The project involved work over several floors including the basement storage areas, ground floor pantry and coffee bar, and third floor main kitchen and servery. Equipment over these areas included Ambach cooking equipment, Hobart dishwash, Rational and Foster.
Working in Leeds city centre, logistical challenges due to the busy nature of the area were encountered, however strong organisation eased any difficulties across the seven month programme. The fast track fit out also required further attention to the transportation of the catering equipment, especially in movement up to the third floor. Time was also of the essence when working alongside designers in order to allow adequate design approval time.
C&C successfully delivered the project on time, and ensured adherence to ISG’s strict contract rules, which resulted in C&C receiving July’s ‘Contractor of the month’ award, proudly accepted by Senior Project Manager Keith Hartharn. Keith commented, “It has been great to work at a KPMG site again, and continuing our working relationship with the same ISG team who ran a well organised site, which we were proud to contribute to. The project has been great, and we’re really pleased with our award and what we’ve delivered.”
