Project Director Paul Parry celebrates 31 years with C&C

31 years ago, on 7th November 1984, Paul ‘Paz’ Parry received the news that he would start working at C&C Catering Equipment Ltd as General Assistant.

The job offer, a letter written on a typewriter from Founder John Kitchin, congratulates Paul as well as referencing Paul’s colourful school boy days! “This [probation period] must be particularly understood in respect of the fact that the reference we obtained from Kingsway High School were, to say the least, not very good.” Needless to say, Paul’s high school references are behind him as he has continuously climbed the C&C ladder to his current Project Director position, as well as building a renowned reputation in the industry.

Paul commented, “It has been a great 31 years at C&C, and it has certainly flown by. I’m delighted to have spent my career at the company, and look forward to what the future brings.”

And it isn’t just Paul who has dedicated their entire career to C&C. John Kitchin has been at C&C for 34 years since founding the business, Managing Director Peter Kitchin also joined at this time and has similarly worked here for 34 years, Company Secretary Heidi Cotton has spent 27 years with C&C, Sales Director Peter Farrell has been with the company for 19 years, with Installation Director Mark Roxburgh and Senior Project Manager Keith Hartharn not far behind at 17 years each. The list goes on as many other members of the C&C family have climbed the ladder with the company, with years in double digits under their belts.
