Cafe Royal Refurbishment

The refurbishment of this London icon is proceeding well despite the challenges of working in the basement of a very old building.

These pictures show the arrival and installation of the C02 pack, the first of its kind in the UK. This pioneering energy saving system serves the coldstore and refrigerated work out cabinets throughout the site – recycling waste heat to provide water heating for the hotel bedroom system.

The complexity of the scheme has required C&C’s Project Manager Mark Roxborough being assigned full-time to the project and completion is due for spring 2012.
