Project: St Clare’s, Oxford
Builder: Benfield and Loxley
Value: Large Project
End date: Autumn 2020
C&C Catering Equipment Ltd is delighted to share one of its recently completed projects at a prestigious establishment in the education sector. St Clare’s, Oxford, required professional catering facilities to support its students and staff, and C&C were pleased to be involved in the project.
Starting on the scheme in January 2020, C&C worked across the main kitchen and servery area at the Coeducational Independent School. Brands on the project included Proline, Falcon and Winterhalter, with Benfield and Loxley as main contractor and Litmus as consultant.
Challenges whilst working on the Oxford-based scheme included the lockdowns in line with government guidance during Covid-19, however these were overcome with careful planning and communication.
Sara Murray, Managing Director as Benfield and Loxley, commented, “We would like to congratulate C&C on the installation and commissioning of another exceptional catering kitchen. We have worked with C&C on a number of projects and have found them to be co-operative, professional and knowledgeable about all matters catering. They have guided us through difficult problems with practical and effective solutions.
We have particularly appreciated the involvement of Keith Hartharn on this and previous projects. Always available to discuss the project and involved at a very early stage throughout to final commissioning and training. He is appreciative of the pressures of us, the main contractor, and assists in maintaining project programmes.
We hope that we will be able to complete further projects with C&C in the future.”
C&C’s Senior Project Manager Keith Hartharn added, “It’s been great working with Benfield and Loxley again, having worked with them on a number of colleges in Oxford previously. Working with Litmus for the first time has also been a great experience. Both are very happy with the project overall, and we’re really pleased with the final product and to have been involved at this prestigious site.”
