The college, the latest scheme in a series of works undertaken for Liverpool Community College, was valued at approximately £370,000 and carried out by BAM Construction. C&C worked alongside BAM to keep in line with their latest Health and Safety procedures.
C&C have been involved in the planning and design stages from inception, these ideas have changed dramatically over a two and a half year period.
The kitchen was originally intended to be used as dual purpose, both for student training and for production. This changed half way through the design process and is now purely used as a production area.
The site will be serving other Liverpool Community College students throughout the city as well as On-Site students. Complete with bespoke servery counters including curved tops and fascia’s with illuminated panels.
The college is located in a difficult city centre location meaning deliveries and logistics were particularly difficult.
