We are mad about football at C&C, and are delighted to have been proud sponsors of the Chester & District FA for the last 25 years.

So why sponsor Chester?

I was born in Chester, as were my children, I have lived almost all my life in Chester and mainly I suppose because the business is based in Chester.

What’s your main reason for sponsoring the Chester & District FA of all the local organisations out there?

It’s our way of ‘giving back’, we do it because we like to help grass roots football. We are Chester based so almost see it as our duty to give something back into the local community and support local football.

How important is football to C&C Catering Equipment?

To the business it doesn’t matter one bit, but to our employees its very important! Everyone here either supports Man Utd or Liverpool, its literally split down the middle with a Geordie (Trevor) thrown in for good measure! In fact I have just counted and there are 7 Utd and & 7 LFC, but I have to say the important people all support Utd (naturally)!! 3 don’t really support anyone.

What other local charities do you support?

We also help to raise money for Claire House Children’s Hospice when we can, and sponsor the Chester Colts Rugby team.

We are also quite active at Chester FC and have sponsored games and events that have taken place over the last three years since they started up again after going out of business. We sponsor one of their players Ashley Williams who also works as an Apprentice for sister company C&C Catering Engineers Limited. We have pitch side adverts at the Exacta Stadium and do what we can to help them out too.
