Working between February and August 2018, C&C completed a support kitchen on the ground floor at St John’s College in the heart of Oxford. The kitchen refurbishments included brands such as Halton, Essex and Proline, with Beard Construction as Main Contractor and Derek White of SHW as Consultant.
Senior Project Manager Keith Hartharn commented, “It’s nice to add another Oxford college to our portfolio, having worked previously at others in the area. There were challenges at the scheme often due to the nature of the refurbishment, including existing wall substrates for wall cladding and site sizes for fabrications, and also due to the listed status of the building.”
