When it comes to Kitchen installations for the Education sector C&C Catering Equipment are excelling.

In the last year the Chester based company has completed major projects for London’s South Bank University, Wolfson College, Bromley College, Brasenose College, University of Westminster, and their huge installation at the £50 million pound Student Hub at Manchester’s Metropolitan University.

Peter Kitchin, “We take great pride in all our projects, but to be working with so many Universities and Colleges nationwide is testament to our professional approach and quality results. Working within the education sector often means time is of the essence, and in some cases we are faced with huge constraints such as working on listed buildings or out of normal operating hours.”

At Bromley College they were responsible for installing the new student restaurant, The Rookery Café within the £24 million pound redevelopment of the College.

At MMU C&C Catering Equipment completed the new servery area  with some innovative and exciting finishes such as the sustainable recycled glass countertop.

At Brasenose they installed a new catering facility within an existing grade 1 listed building, obviously this meant they carried out their work without causing any alteration to the building structure and working out of normal working hours.

Kevin Barnes FCSI from the Peter Burholt Partnership describes the experience of working with C&C, “It’s a pleasure, they are a very helpful and co-operative contractor with excellent attention to detail.”

At London South Bank Uni C&C provided a stylish new student servery area called ‘Grads Café’ at the Student Centre which Stephen Hackett, Director of Student Services describes, “The café area was an instant success.”

With happy customers and a busy workload 2013 looks just as promising and rewarding for C&C. With more exciting projects ahead not only within the UK’s Universities but at many other sectors including Leisure, Hospitality and the Healthcare industry, the future looks promising.
