With a project value of more than £3.2 million for C&C Catering Equipment, this was their biggest and most challenging project yet. They were appointed in November 2011 and given just 7 months to complete the design and installation of all catering facilities, within the 5* Hotel development on Regent Street.

Sushi Samba based in the Heron Tower is London’s hottest new venue with a reported 2 months waiting list already. We were delighted to win the contract and are even happier with the end result.

The project, valued at nearly £380,000 was very much the personal design of Nigel Haworth and his head chef Lisa Allen whose driving passion was for clean lines, an open plan layout and no shelving, to minimise clutter in the busy kitchen. Such was the success of the design that it was runner up in this year’s 2014 CEDA Awards for medium sized projects.

With the launch of new brand Thaikhun in Spinningfields, Manchester, a distinctive and authentic Thai flavour was the order of the day for C&C on a project that also focused on the expanding street food trend in the UK.
